Early 1900’s Tudor.  In the 1960’s, the previous owner added a 2-story contemporary addition and one of the goals was to change that and bring it back to the style of the original home.  The revival was achieved by:

  • Removing the contemporary windows and doors and replacing with traditional EAGLE French doors and double hung windows.
  • Replacing all exterior details (moldings, stucco, stone, slate roof) to match the Tudor style of the original home.
  • Designing and building a 2-story addition to create an expansive gourmet kitchen/breakfast room and 2nd floor nursery.
  • Relocating the stairs to the basement along with providing a new butlers pantry to connect the new kitchen to the existing dining room.
  • Entire master suite was gutted and transformed into a spacious, traditional bedroom with a fireplace and 16 feet of 5-panel french doors encompassing the entire back wall. The master bath is now an exquisite space including a steam shower and vessel bowls. All other bathrooms in the home were also renovated to complete the project.
