Case Study Airy & Modern – A New Bath

In an earlier life, this modern, airy bathroom was a dark, cramped cedar closet. Our client was seeking a full bath with views of the surrounding scenery; in addition we were asked not to significantly alter the outside of the house.
MGD erected exterior scaffolding that allowed our workers to enter and leave the house via the actual dormer/work area without disturbing the homeowners. We removed the interior cedar paneling which raised the ceiling level. We enlarged the dormer window and added a skylight with shades to manage illumination, heat and privacy. This sleek, highly functional, award winning bathroom was exactly what the homeowner was looking for.
